Volunteer

Volunteers have an enormous impact and unique insight into the health and well-being of our community. When you volunteer with SNAHC, you become a key member of our health home by helping us to provide quality healthcare in the greater Sacramento area.

Your role as a Volunteer:

We are looking for persons to hold the position of “Community Outreach Volunteer.” In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Attending community outreach events in the greater Sacramento area (events TBD, based on individual availability).
  • Sharing the mission of SNAHC with community members by highlighting our service and program offerings.
  • Representing SNAHC on the community level and maintaining our positive public image.

BASIC ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Attend an outreach training (one 1-hour session, mandatory).
  • Have the ability to transport yourself to and from community outreach events.
  • Have the ability to transport materials, on some occasions.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds (accommodation can be provided).
