MyHealthHome – Frequently Asked Questions

What Is MyHealthHome?

MyHealthHome is a secure online patient portal that gives you convenient 24-hour access to your personal health information and medical records from anywhere with an Internet connection. You can access your record on your smart phone as well with a Web browser.

Why Is Using MyHealthHome Important?

Accessing your personal medical records through a patient portal can help you be more actively involved in your own health care. Also, MyHealthHome offers self-service options that can eliminate phone tag with your doctor and sometimes even save a trip to the office.

What Can I Do With MyHealthHome?

With MyHealthHome you can securely view and print portions of your medical record, including recent doctor visits, medications, immunizations, allergies, and most lab results anytime and from anywhere you have Web access.

Other features include:

  • Exchanging secure e-mail with your health care team
  • Request prescription refills
  • Scheduling non-urgent appointments
  • Making payments
  • View your current statement
  • Read and download educational material from your doctor

Take advantage of interactive health care tools online, like Symptom Checker, the HealthWise knowledge base and many tools for health, fitness and lifestyle help for you and your entire family.

Why Am I Not Receiving Email Notifications?

If you feel you are not receiving email notifications, the spam blocking software used by your email provider might be the issue. To ensure that you are receiving Patient Portal emails please do the following: add NextMD.com to your contact list, address list, safe list or “Do Not Block” list. If you are using your own spam filtering software please be sure that you are not filtering out email from NextMD.com.

How Do I Join MyHealthHome?

If you are a SNAHC patient please ask about MyHealthHome at your next visit. Be sure to bring your driver’s license or other photo ID with you.

Our team will provide you with instructions and an enrollment token to set up your account. There will be a couple of steps involved in setting up your account, including creating a secure password and a fraud protection process. This is to make sure only you have access to your health information.

Once your account is set up, you’ll be ready to conveniently access your health information and medical records.
