Department and Services
Medical Services - Chill Yee leads our medical services team providing a full range of community health care and prevention services, including: primary medical care, women's health care, acupuncture, pediatrics, immunizations, Well-Baby exams, confidential free rapid-result HIV testing and counseling, nutrition and diabetes self-management, school/sports physicals, family planning, and health education.
Dental Services - Alice Huang leads our dental services team providing exceptional quality and the latest know-how for many services, including: general dentistry for children, adults and elders, exams and x-rays, emergency services, fillings, extractions and root canals, cleanings, sealants and fluoride treatments, dentures, partials, and patient education and referrals.
Behavioral Health Services - Ellen Johnson leads our behavioral health services team providing confidential clinical services, substance abuse case management and counseling on an outpatient basis, including: individual, family and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, talking circles, parent education and training, relapse prevention, referrals and access to other agencies, outpatient and residential treatment. SNAHC is a meeting point for Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings.
Home Visit Services - Melissa Macias and Cibonay Cordova are the dynamic duo that provides home visit services for eligible families with children five years old or younger, including: health tips, baby and child safety education for parents, home safety information, and referrals for other services and education activities.
Community Outreach - SNAHC is involved in a number or efforts and events with the goal of educating and welcoming the various peoples and organizations in Sacramento and beyond, including: On Native Ground (weekly radio show), 2nd Saturday Art Walk, Gathering of the Lodges, neighborhood health & safety fairs, youth drum groups, local big-times/powwows, and others.
